How to Respond to a Queen’s RFx
March 6 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Queen’s is offering a session for Suppliers to better understand the process for responding to a Queen’s issued open procurement opportunity (otherwise known as a Tender or Request for Proposal/RFP). As a public institution, we’re in the business of offering opportunities in an open, fair, and transparent way to make sure all qualified suppliers have the chance to provide goods and services to us. This session will inform Suppliers on the process and provide information about what should be included with submissions.
Note: There is no prerequisite for this session, however, attendees are encouraged to have attended the ‘How to do Business with Queen’s’ Supplier session for background information on public sector procurement requirements.
Target Audience: This is a session for current and potential Suppliers to gain a better understanding and to learn some best practices for use when submitting to solicitations (RFxs).
Space is limited. Participants who sign up for the session but fail to attend, will not be able to enroll in future sessions without approval from Queen’s Strategic Procurement Services. Typically, we have large waiting lists for our Supplier sessions and to ensure all interested Suppliers have an opportunity to attend, we cannot permit participants to sign up and not attend. Sessions are not recorded and the slide deck is not provided post the session. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact spsevents@queensu.ca or buying@queensu.ca.
