Advocacy 101: Raising Your Voice to Empower Your Business

Kingston is projected to be one of the fastest growing innovation hubs in all of Canada. As this growth accelerates, the ability to tell your story effectively to government stakeholders will be a critical skill for any entrepreneur to have as they attempt to expand and scale their business.

In this session, which will be co-hosted by Invest Kingston and presented by Counsel Public Affairs, we will explore:

• The various levels of government and the importance of each for your business

• What effective government advocacy is and how it works

• Why government advocacy essential for growing businesses

• How to use government advocacy to best position your business and build meaningful partnerships with government

• The Dos and Don’ts of government engagement, and best practices for success

A Q&A session will also be included as a part of this presentation.
