This month marks the first anniversary of Sift, designed from the ground up as “The Ultimate Biomechanics Analysis Companion” to help biomechanists manage and analyze large motion capture datasets. There have been more than 10 releases of Sift since its launch on March 25th, 2024, with key new features like a console application to power sophisticated batch processing. Professionals across the world are using modern motion capture technologies to collect large datasets and adopting Sift to unlock the value in this data.

Approaching 25 years on the market, Visual3D is used across Canada and by nearly 2,000 universities, hospitals, and professional sports teams worldwide in 50+ countries. For both Visual3D and Sift, we see a growing demand for biomechanical insights and we are committed to supporting the global biomechanics community with reliable, cutting-edge tools.
Keeping up this widespread adoption, the company made significant strides in 2024 with our team nearly doubling in size. Our new office space reflects this ambition, providing the foundation for continued hiring in 2025.
