2024 Queen’s Career Apprenticeship: Kingston Launch Event

In collaboration with Queen’s University, the Kingston Economic Development Corporation would like to invite you to the official launch of the 2024 Queen’s Career Apprenticeship: Kingston (QCA:K) program!

QCA:K is an innovative program, which connects new graduates from the arts, humanities, and social science disciplines within the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queens University with a Kingston employer. The objective is to help new graduates launch their career while retaining skilled talent in the community. Employers who commit to a 12-month contract with a participant are reimbursed for 4 months of the gross salary to a maximum of $2,500 per month.

Since it’s inception in 2018, the QCA:K program’s investment of $400,000 has generated $2.5 million in ongoing salaries within the Kingston community. In 2024, the program will fund up to 15 positions. The launch event is a fantastic opportunity to see how your company can secure one of the positions and keep some of the amazing Queen’s talent in Kingston!
